Lover's Beach

Known as Playa del Amor, or Lover's Beach, this tiny little spot of  secluded sands is probably the most popular and yet most sublime of the swimmable beaches in Los Cabos.  Nestled between two prominent jagged granite rock formations, the beach one of the most  sought-after attractions in Cabo San Lucas as it offers up so much to do.  Do not worry about how to get  to the spot  - the easiest way is simply via water taxi from Medano Beach across the bay, or if you have some ambition it's quick  and relaxing  paddleboard or kayak ride over calm, turquoise waters.

Glass-bottom boats in the marina will also run trips  to the  sands, offering  up a unique perspective of  the  tropical fish and marine life  below.  Snorkeling is popular here  as marine diversity flourishes  beneath the surface, while scuba diving the  underwater sand-falls of Neptune's Finger draw even  the most accomplished diver to experience  something magical. If all you are looking  for  is a quiet  walk with your love  one and possible a little bit of swimming  to cool off, look no further.  One  word of advice is to  bring a pair  of shoes as the sands can gather plenty of heat during the afternoon hours and most definitely want to protect your feet.

The distinctive landmark of Cabo San Lucas is  the rugged taffy-colored  El Arco (The Arch) rock formation that erupts from the sea at the tip of the Baja Peninsula, where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez.  also known as Land's End,  El Arco is a popular tourist  attraction  and the central  focus of countless vacation photos.  A visit to Land's End is undoubtedly one of the most popular things  to do  in Cabo San Lucas.  Getting there is easy and you can view the iconic golden arch from your boat or ask the captain to drop you off and arrange a pick-up time.  En route, you will pass lazy sea lions basking on the rocks.
